Drill Rod Grease is a black very adhesive extreme pressure lubricant providing a water resistant film capable of withstanding extremely high loads. In service it will not squeeze out, even under high contact pressures produced by continuous shock load and vibration.
Laminated solids prevent wear, scuffing, pitting, cold welding and fretting corrosion in the rope thread connectors of Drill Rods. The calcium soap together with synthetic viscosity improver and tackifier seal out water from drill muds in wet drilling conditions.
